Senior Finance Business Partner (12 month FTC)
Norwich (1 or 2 days per week in the office)
£60,000-£70,000 (DOE)
Our client, an exciting and dynamic business based in Central Norwich are seeking a confident and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team. This senior role is on a 12 month, fixed-term contract. This role offers incredible flexibility with the successful candidate able to work 3/4 days a week from home.
Reporting to the Finance Director duties will include:
- Oversee Being a trusted business partner to the team
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency in the control and valuation of inventory
- Partnering with the business to ensure that they set a challenging, accurate plan and forecast for inventory and variable costs
- Analysing results against plan, understanding and documenting drivers of variances and re-forecasting accordingly
- Partnering with the business to implement change, improve processes, and drive improvements that flow through to financial results
- Leading the inventory side of system implementation and improvements
- Supporting the accounting team to ensure they maintain a robust and reconciled balance sheet
- Working with the wider finance team to ensure working capital forecast assumptions are accurate
- Supporting the currency hedging process, ensuring alignment with group policy
- Working with the Group Assurance Manager to ensure internal control standards are in place with regard to the Inventory systems and process.
- Working with the Financial Controller to manage all inventory related aspects of interim and full year audits
