Keeler Recruitment is working exclusively with a dynamic and well-established company seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper who wants to take their career to the next level in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As the Senior Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for overseeing key financial functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s bookkeeping processes. Your duties will include:
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently
- Preparing VAT returns and assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
- Reconciling bank statements and financial reports
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally at a senior level
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
- A proactive and communicative team player
- AAT qualification (or similar) preferred, but not essential
