A major UK organisation operating across multiple sites is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its established finance and governance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who enjoys autonomy, stakeholder engagement, and delivering impactful audit work.

About the Role
As Internal Auditor, you will:

• Lead and deliver internal audits across operational and financial processes
• Assess risks, evaluate controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Analyse data and documentation to identify improvements
• Provide independent insight to senior management and audit committees
• Investigate irregularities, fraud concerns and whistleblowing cases
• Build strong working relationships across the business
• This role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to influence business-wide decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Accountant: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Strong financial accounting knowledge and understanding of reporting standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites
• High integrity, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word
