Payroll Clerk

We are working on behalf of a reputable and well-established business based in Norwich to recruit a Payroll Clerk to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional, or someone looking to develop their career within payroll, to join a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time

Managing payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders

Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data integrity

Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies

Processing starters, leavers, and salary changes
-
Liaising with HMRC and pension providers where required
-
Supporting payroll reporting and month-end processes
About You:
-
Previous experience in a payroll position
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Good understanding of payroll legislation and processes

Confident IT skills, including Excel

Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
