Keeler Recruitment’s aim is to build a great company through developing value-adding, long term relationships with our clients, and developing access to leading candidates.
Mark is the founder and hands on leader of the business.
After a short role in finance in the food industry, Mark enjoyed an outstanding career in accountancy and finance recruitment in Norfolk and East Anglia including as the former Business and Regional Manager of a national recruitment business.
He was voted ‘Best Newcomer’ in recruitment eighteen years ago and went on to coach, manage and lead one of their most successful branches in the UK, serving both accountancy and business candidates.
Mark is known for developing and valuing long term relationships, and for his rapport with people. In 2019, after twenty years in the corporate sector, he decided to follow his dream and set up his own business approaching his old finance lecturer and mentor Nigel Cushion to help him set up Keeler Recruitment
He works full time in Keeler, and aims to inspire the next generation of recruitment professionals.
Mark lives in Norwich, and has two young sons. Outside family, he loves kite surfing.

Suzi works on levels 5, 6 & 7 covering the qualified end of the market for both candidates and clients offering a professional end to end service.
Suzi’s recruitment career started in 2000 when she joined a global, blue chip recruitment group. Working in a corporate environment for 16 years Suzi gained a wealth of experience within the Accountancy and Finance sector and was known for her business wins, relocation projects and business acumen at qualified level.
She worked in various locations across the UK before settling back in Norwich in 2005 to manage the Norwich, Kings Lynn and Peterborough markets.
In 2016 Suzi left the corporate environment to set up a freelance consultancy providing a bespoke service to fit the needs of her clients. Working for herself in this capacity has given her the opportunity to be creative and explore different areas of recruitment.
The combination of Suzi’s corporate background and freelance business is the perfect blend of experience to bring to Keeler Recruitment.
Suzi lives in Norwich and has two young daughters and a golden retriever. Outside family, Suzi is a season ticket holder at Norwich City Football Club and loves all forms of live entertainment, especially the theatre.

Riva manages the recruitment of levels 3 & 4.
After a business degree and a year in industry, Riva clocked up over a decade of recruitment experience with a leading global blue chip recruitment business, rising to the role of manager. During this time Riva developed a fantastic local network and a wealth of knowledge within the Accountancy & Finance sector.
More recently she has had a career break to be with her young children and is now returning to Accountancy and Finance Recruitment. Riva is known for her innovative candidate attraction strategies and for establishing successful long term relationships with clients.
Riva lives in Norwich with her husband and has two children. Alongside a very active social life, Riva loves music and long walks when she is not looking after her two fish.
– James Steel, Senior Recruitment Specialist
James is focused on the search, selection and recruitment of levels 3 & 4.
James started his working life in a family business, but was soon to move into recruitment. He now has over 12 years of
experience within recruitment, starting in an internal role for a leading public transport provider in London, before
relocating to Norfolk where he has spent the last 10 years recruiting for the international Oil & Gas industry.
During this time, James established a network of consultants worldwide to
provide a quality service to his clients on a consistent basis. James prides himself on being a good communicator and ensures he builds lasting relationships with consultants and clients alike.
Outside of family he loves football and co-hosts a weekly podcast. Since moving up from Essex, James and his wife have two children and two sausage dogs.

Amelia actively delivers and supports
level 1 & 2 within the business.
After starting within the Recruitment industry as a trainee, Amelia brings seven years’ experience of working in two other consultancies and more recently, a period of time client side. As an Account Manager, Amelia will help Mark manage the growing work with our partnership clients.
Amelia is a recognised member of the Institute of Recruiters Association which has helped her further her knowledge of recruitment industry and understand both candidates and clients’ needs alike.
She lives in Norwich and enjoys spending time with her family including dog ‘Billie’, playing sports and attending the gym.

Emma is responsible for the delivery of level 1 & 2 recruitment within the business.
Emma has over 20 years recruitment experience, having started her career in Financial and Professional Services in London.
For the last 12 years Emma has specialised in Accountancy & Finance recruitment in Norfolk, working for a major corporate recruiter where she delivered excellent customer service and enjoyed developing long term relationships. She is well connected in the Norfolk market and keen to maintain and develop new relationships with clients and candidates.
Emma lives in Norwich with her husband, 3 daughters and 3 cats! With a passion for fine wine and dining out, Emma believes in a ‘work hard, play hard’ way of life.

Nigel supports Keeler Recruitment and its clients with mentoring and performance consulting.
Nigel has 35 years experience in business. He is a former accountant at KPMG, and
has held nine board roles in the last ten years, including six as Chair and one as Financial Director. He is the former Chair of the Institute of Directors in Norfolk, former Lecturer in Business and Finance, and visiting Enterprise Fellow at UEA.
Nigel came runner-up in the national NED awards by the Sunday Times. He has been listed in the ‘Who’s who of Britain’s Business Leaders’ and his work in Finance has been cited as best practice by HM Treasury, The Bank of England and The Institute of Directors.
Today Nigel works as a Chair, Mentor, Speaker, Author and Angel Investor. He is the Executive Chairman and Founder of mentoring business Nelsonspirit, and is currently working with over fifty CEOs and MDs across Norfolk, and internationally.
He has a degree in Business Economics and Accounting from Southampton University, and speaks all over the world on business and leadership. He lives in Norwich and has two grown up sons. Outside family, he loves playing sport.
