Choosing the right outfit doesn’t have to be stressful.
Here are a few simple tips I share with my candidates to help them feel confident and make a great first impression:
• Research the company’s dress code – not all companies expect a full suit
• Choose clean, well-fitted clothes you feel comfortable in
• Keep colours neutral or muted, with one subtle statement piece if you like
• Make sure shoes are clean and professional
• Bring a smart bag or portfolio to carry your documents/belongings
When you feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing, it shows in your body language and how you present yourself.
