Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client, a well-established organisation based in Norwich city centre, is seeking a Part-time Accounts Payable Assistant to support their finance team. This role offers flexible working across 3 or 4 days per week, with a hybrid split depending on hours worked.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Preparing and processing supplier payments
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
- Maintaining accurate accounts payable records
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting month-end accounts payable tasks
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
The Role Offers
