We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Norfolk based business seeking an Accounts Controller to join their team at short notice. This is an immediate requirement to support a detailed handover, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy finance function and would suit someone with strong transactional finance experience who is confident, resilient, and able to quickly take ownership of core processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Cash book management and bank reconciliations
- Supporting and processing payroll
- Overseeing day-to-day transactional finance activity
- Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
About you:
- Proven experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong working knowledge of Sage
- Confident across AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
- Payroll experience highly desirable
- Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment
- Available to start at short notice and pick up processes quickly through handover
- Have own transport due to location
