Finance Manager
Location: Norwich
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We’re supporting a fast-growing and commercially driven business, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its Norwich-based finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role within a scaling organisation, supporting both day-to-day finance operations and wider business growth.
You’ll be reporting directly to senior leadership and will take ownership of operational finance, management reporting, cashflow oversight and process improvement, while helping develop systems and controls to support a growing business environment.
This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced setting and wants to make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing month-end close and production of management accounts
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Overseeing purchase ledger, supplier payments and expense processes
- Managing payroll and pension processes
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Producing insightful reporting and KPI analysis for leadership teams
- Supporting finance systems improvements and process automation
- Assisting with VAT, audit and wider compliance activities
- Supporting and mentoring junior finance team members
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong experience within management accounting or operational finance
- Good understanding of payroll, VAT and cashflow management
- Commercially aware with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
- Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
