I am working exclusively with a well established and successful business to recruit a Commercial Analyst to join their finance team.
This is an opportunity for an analytical and commercially minded individual to support pricing decisions, financial analysis and business performance, working closely with the Finance Business Partner and wider commercial teams.
The role offers hybrid working, flexible working patterns will be considered, and study support is available.
As Commercial Analyst, you will provide financial analysis and insight to support commercial decision making. You will work with data across sales, customers and products, helping the business understand performance, develop pricing strategies and improve reporting.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pricing analysis and developing pricing models.

Reviewing non standard contract terms and pricing requests.

Analysing sales and product data to identify trends and opportunities.

Supporting forecasting and reporting.

Producing profitability analysis and financial reports.

Supporting budgeting and forecasting through accurate data and analysis.

Providing commercial insight to support decision making.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
We are looking for someone with a strong analytical approach who enjoys working with data and providing commercial insight.
You will ideally have:

Experience in an analytical or commercial finance role.

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.

Good numerical, problem solving and planning skills.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with different teams.

A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
