Management Accountant

Norwich (Hybrid) | £35,000 | 

I am working with an established business in Norwich to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Client Finance team based in their head office with onsite parking and hybrid working available.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio, supporting with the financial management. The role covers budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, working closely with Managers, clients and external accountants.

The Role

• Preparing and reviewing budgets.
• Producing cashflow forecasts and monitoring expenditure against budget.
• Preparing year end accounts 
• ???????Completing bank, ledger and control account reconciliations.
• Managing billing, income and expenditure.
• Providing financial reports and commentary on variances, risks and performance.
• Responding to financial queries
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

About You

• Practical accounting experience, including budgets, year end accounts and reconciliations.
• ???????Good knowledge of accruals, prepayments and fund accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
• A customer focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A relevant accounting qualification, or studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA, would be beneficial and study support will be offered.
