Payroll Team Leader
Norwich
£30k-£35k plus hybrid working
Our client, one of the UK's top 40 accountancy firms, are looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader within their Norwich Office.
Candidates with considerable experience in Payroll and the ability to manage a team is desirable. Although not essential, a professional payroll & pensions qualification would be beneficial.
In your role, you will also be responsible for:
- Provide strategic leadership and encouragement to the Firm's payroll team.
- Assess the workload of fellow Payroll team members.
- Take charge of meeting your own payroll deadlines.
- Possess expertise in managing high-volume payroll operations.
- Serve as the primary contact for addressing escalated issues within the department.
- Evaluate, oversee, and introduce new procedures to advance departmental operations.
- Maintain strong relationships and accuracy in payroll functions while meeting service level agreements.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Demonstrate specialised proficiency in all facets of payroll administration.
