We are delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established and long standing business of East Anglia, who are looking to recruit an Operations Accountant. Our client is looking for someone who is professionally qualified, working towards being qualified or qualified by experience. Experience of Navision and BI Solutions would be desirable but not essential.

Reporting directly into the Finance Controller, the Operations Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
 

• Assist to ensure weekly and period end accounts are prepared in line with Group requirements.
• Provide business partner support to the site management team, ensuring site targets are achieved and that changing business requirements are met.
• Liaising closely with the department managers and Accounts Payable on invoice and expenditure queries.
• Maintain trackers on key elements of daily, weekly, and monthly performance, helping support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Provide budget holders with overhead information for effective review of value and control, promoting a culture of cost awareness.
• Assist with the analysis to compile forecasts and annual budgets.
