Private Client Tax – Senior Appointment
Location: Norwich (flexible / hybrid working available)
A well-established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax professional to join its Norwich office in a senior capacity. This opportunity would suit someone looking to work with a high-quality private client portfolio while contributing to the continued development of the wider tax function.
The role focuses on delivering trusted, technically sound advice to a broad range of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts. You will have responsibility for complex advisory work, oversight of client delivery, and providing guidance to less experienced members of the team.
The Role
- Managing a varied portfolio of private clients
- Providing advisory support across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and trusts
- Reviewing work and ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
- Supporting team development and day-to-day workflow
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
- Contributing to process improvement and best practice within the tax team
About You
- Significant experience in private client tax within a practice environment
- ACA / ACCA and/or CTA qualified
- Strong technical knowledge with a pragmatic, client-focused approach
- Comfortable operating at a senior level while remaining hands-on
- Confident communicator with a collaborative working style
