Management Accountant

I am working exclusively with a growing and dynamic business to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a varied and hands on role, supporting a portfolio of companies across day to day finance operations, reporting and compliance. The position offers exposure to multi entity accounting, international transactions and a broad range of responsibilities within a collaborative environment.
The role
You will take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, alongside overseeing key finance processes including VAT, payroll and accounts payable. The role will also involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and timely financial information.
Key responsibilities include
- Preparation of monthly management accounts across a portfolio of companies
- Submission and reconciliation of VAT returns
- Managing the accounts payable process, including invoices and payments
- End to end payroll processing across monthly and fortnightly payrolls
- Liaising with HMRC and managing statutory submissions
- Day to day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Preparing and presenting weekly payment runs across multiple currencies
- Supporting intercompany transactions and international fund flows
- Assisting with reporting requirements and regulatory data submissions
- Managing finance inboxes and responding to queries
About you
- Experience in a management accounting or similar role
- Strong understanding of VAT, payroll and financial processes
- Comfortable working across multiple entities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage workload effectively
