Financial Accountant
Location: South Norfolk (Hybrid working – 3/2 split)

We’re supporting an established organisation in their search for a technically strong Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain exposure to external reporting, technical accounting and group-level finance activities within a fast-paced and acquisitive environment.
You will be working closely with senior finance leadership and will support statutory reporting, technical accounting projects, balance sheet control and wider financial compliance activities, while also contributing to process improvement and strategic finance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts and external reporting
- Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
- Assisting with technical accounting research and IFRS compliance
- Ownership and reconciliation of technical balance sheet areas
- Supporting acquisition accounting and completion accounts processes
- Assisting with cashflow reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting sustainability and wider regulatory reporting requirements
- Reviewing and improving financial controls and reporting processes
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRS
- Practice-trained background advantageous
- Audit experience desirable
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
