We were delighted to host our first Charity Casino Evening last night at Norwich Theatre raising money for Break.
With 6 casino tables, entrance drink and delicious hot bowl food what more is needed for a Monday evening. The evening was played out with ‘Keeler Cash’ and the winning team was awarded at the end of the evening.
It certainly was a Monday night with a difference and I can’t thank the Norfolk Business Community enough for its support for the entire event, from the generous offering of £1800 worth of raffle prizes to all of the 28 businesses that entered teams on the evening.
In total, the evening raised £4305 all of which will be donated direct to the Charity today.
Just to put this into context, it costs Break c£5k to turn a flat into a ‘staying close home’ for a young person as Break supports them as they leave care.
The evening winners were Birketts LLP, who took the winning trophy kindly donated by the amazing team at EFFECTIVE IMAGING LIMITED and Jonathan Ling. They have promised to display this proudly and represent at next year’s rematch!
